Woke up to a brisk 29 degrees this morning 🥶 but it warmed to 65. Not a cloud in the sky today so we continue to luck out with the weather. Big E and I completed an 8.2 mile hike today that was pretty flat and easy. The Grand Tetons were beautiful with the snow covered mountain peaks in the back drop with many beautiful crystal blue lakes at their base. After hiking Jenny Lake yesterday we decided to do upper trails connected to Jenny lake. If you visit and want to hike I recommend starting at the Stringer Lake trail head and go counter clockwise in the JL trail. From this point you get to Inspiration Point earlier as that portion is hard to hike up so you’ll have more energy. You also hit the JL main area as you make you way around so access to bathrooms, food, and gift shop before you finish the last half. If you do Leigh Lake which we did starting at this same trail head was nice very as it was not crowded like JL. Anyways here are some videos/photos from today.
