Got a small break in the weather to start the day. Was able to secure a Going to the Sun day pass last minute. We drove up and hiked Avalanche Lake trail. Total hike was just over 6 miles. A little wet, but the trail was actually pretty good. Chilly though only 44 degrees and windy. It was all worth it though as the Avalanche Lake view was incredible and worth the hike up. We swing over to East Glacier side tomorrow and weather looks favorable so 🤞
